Throughout Africa, millions of people still do not have access to proper medical care due to a lack of medical facilities, shortage of doctors and nurses, a lack of medications, or the inability to get to a clinic in time to be helped.
Statistics show that Africa still has the highest HIV/AIDS related deaths, infant mortality rates, infectious diseases, epidemics and Malaria rates, predominantly due to lack of adequately equipped medical facilities.
ER24 has an established International Patient / Foreign Referral division to assist people throughout Africa to receive the best possible medical attention. A dedicated 24 hour case management team will be allocated to each and every patient to facilitate and co-ordinate the care of the patients, from the start of a procedure right through to the completion of the case, with the ultimate goal being to positively impact and improve patient well-being and health care expectations. This includes hospital placement within our Preferred Provider Network. It will be the sole duty of the case management team to ensure the holistic care of the patient, to serve as a communication link between the patient and the various treating doctors or specialists, nurses, as well as the patient’s next of kin.
