ER24 customises products or solutions that meet our clients’ needs through our suite of Value Add services listed below.

Roadside Assistance:

Road Assistance provides roadside assistance benefits to customers subscribing to the service, allowing vehicle owners to travel with peace of mind. The Road Assistance call centre is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  The Road Assistance for is within the Republic of South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland and Botswana.
 The stranded member will be assisted by Road Assistance in the following way:
Flat tyre assistance, Battery Jump-Start, Towing service, Car Lockout Service, and Emergency Fuel.

 Legal Assist:

This benefit entitles the subscriber to 24 hour telephonic legal advice on any personal legal issue, irrespective whether the cause of action arose before or after the date of subscription.
The following advice will be excluded: tax, business related, financial advice or any other advice that is not of a legal or labour nature. Advice must be relevant to an incident involving the member him/herself or his/her immediate family. Only the main policyholder may make use of this benefit.
Should the subscriber require legal representation in court, this will be arranged, upon the subscriber’s request, refer him/her to the panel attorney, who will render legal services at pre arranged reduced rates.

Trauma Counseling:

If face-to-face debriefing is required the counselor will redirect the caller to the nearest trauma centre who will arrange for face-to-face debriefing. The face-to-face counselor will be selected to be age, sex and culturally appropriate. The counselors will travel to the client if needed. There will be both trauma counseling centers and individual, professionally trained clinicians within our network. The counseling centers mostly operate independently and have between 5 to 120 counselors per centre. The primary function of the centers is Trauma related cases. The counselors specialize in trauma debriefing and support. Centers offer both debriefing and legal support. Counseling services include face-to-face couple and group therapy.

Home Assist:

The home assistance product is designed to assist the customer with repairs and inconveniences related to their homes. A well managed panel of contracted service providers including plumbers, electricians, locksmiths and glass replacement specialists are available to assist customers with household emergencies and repairs.

HIV Accidental Risk

Unlimited 24 hour access to the Care Centre for the purpose of access to an HIV specialist medical practitioner to draw blood and undertake an HIV test within 48 (Forty Eight) hours of the exposure and advice.

On receipt of a negative HIV test result pursuant to the HIV test, access is granted to an HIV specialist medical practitioner to draw blood and undertake an HIV test 90 days after the occurrence of the Exposure.

On receipt of a positive HIV test result pursuant to either the initial test, clinical disease management guidance including advice relating to patient specific treatment protocols, the correct use of ART and post-treatment plans, referral of the member to clinics, Telephonic Counseling, quarterly reminders for pathology tests and the distribution of literature to the member will be undertaken.

Location Based Services:

This service offers voice-free panic buttons that allow the user to send ER24 a distress message including his / her location to up to four pre-specified cell numbers. Upon registration, the user simply saves a USSD code as a speed-dial, and he / she can rest assured that someone will be notified of their location in an emergency.

Traffic Updates:

National or local traffic alerts will be sent to your cell phone via SMS on your request

Concierge Services:

All services are offered on a referral basis only. We will never guarantee payment on behalf of a client, however, should the client so wish, we will make the payment on behalf of the client using his/her credit card – however, only upon the express instruction of the client, and once a written credit card authorisation form has been faxed to us.  All services are offered on a 24-hour 365-day a year. Basic services range from golf course referrals, car rental, hotel referrals, flight reservations, flower delivery, dining referral and tourist information.

Chauffeur Driver:

All services are offered on a referral basis only. We will never guarantee payment on behalf of a client, however, should the client so wish, we will make the payment on behalf of the client using his/her credit card – however, only upon the express instruction of the client, and once a written credit card authorisation form has been faxed to us.  All services are offered on a 24-hour 365-day a year basis.

Helicopter Services:

ER24 have the HEMS Helicopter operations located in the Gauteng and Western Cape Regions.  ER24 currently handles all of the medical management of this service. From the provision of the Contact Centre, medical staff, clinical flight decisions and all the billing for the helicopter and payment of claims for this service. See our Medicopter HEMS page for more information.

ER24 Direct:

This is a product designed for families and individuals providing 24/7 medical advice, access to the ER24 Emergency Contact Centre, emergency telephonic advice and referrals to crisis lines.

Schools honours is designed with emergency care in schools at the core of the product with many add on services.

Frail Care Solutions:

Call4Care HomeCare is a service designed for elderly people living independently. Call4Care HomeCare offers an easy to operate, home-based, two-way hands free CarePhone, which enables elderly people to live independently whilst still having help and assistance at hand at the simple press of a button. Any alarm activation will immediately allow communication with our Response Centre Call operator, who will be able to assist, no matter what the need or emergency. When assistance is needed, a simple press of the red button on the CarePhone or pendant, will alert the Call4Care Response Centre and will initiate voice communication with the Call operator no matter where the client may be in their home, without the client having to lift the handset or get to the CarePhone. Call4Care HomeCare includes a Call4Care Carephone, a Call4Care Panic Button Pendant and 24/7 Monitoring. Call4Care is partnered with ER24 to provide around the clock emergency response and medical care for our clients at no extra charge.
