HOW MUST I APPLY FOR A POSITION WITHIN ER24

New positions and vacancies within ER24 are advertised in the media and on Mediclinic's Career Center. We also make use of various Social Networking Sites such as Twitter and Facebook to advertise the positions.

If you are interested in joining ER24, look out for these advertisements which are usually published in the Appointments, Careers or Jobs sections of newspapers and Latest Careers on Mediclinic's website.

The job description in an advertisement shows how and where you could be employed. It also shows the department and town/city where you could be stationed and what your duties would be. 

A job advertisement also provides the following information:

• The requirements and key performance areas of the advertised post
• The procedure that should be followed to apply for the post
• The job reference number
• The closing dates for applications
• You can also apply for a position online by registering your CV

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUBMIT WITH MY APPLICATION

ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd, trading as ER24, a fully owned subsidiary company of Mediclinic, recently contracted Mediclinic as our recruitment agent.  We would like to introduce you to the new careers link on our ER24 website.

Please follow the link to the ER24 website -   www.er24.co.za and click on CAREERS.  You will be directed to the registration site of the Mediclinic Careers portal.

1.         Click on Register and Apply (in the gray block on the left of the screen).

2.         Go to Register Your CV (also in the gray block on the left of the screen)

3.         Register your CV by selecting your own username and password, and then by completing all the required (*) fields, until you see the message: CV STATUS COMPLETE (in green)

4.         You can then browse our available jobs and apply for ER24 positions (Browse Jobs and apply).

5.         You may also set up Job Alerts to receive notifications of newly released advertisements.

Registration of your details will not only provide you with a professional standard CV format that can be updated with ease but also allows for notification of career opportunities.  You will have the opportunity to attach other personal information e.g. own CV, copies of qualifications, introduction letter etc. if you wish to do so.  Information is treated as confidential and will only be used for recruitment purposes by the company.

A Professional Driver's Permit is a minimum requirement by law according to the National Road Traffic Act 69 of 1996 for some positions.  You can apply for a permit at your local traffic and licensing department.
