ER24's Emergency Contact Centre has a dedicated inter-facility transfer team.
The team assist hospitals to arrange, authorise and action inter-facility transfers, be it via road or air.
Hospital staff can book inter-facility transfers directly via ER24's website. The patient information is digitally captured and transferred to the Emergency Contact Centre where it is actioned by the inter-facility transfer team. The team will assist with the verification and authorisation of the transfer.
It is important to note that once an inter-facility transfer has been booked via the website, you will still need to call the Emergency Contact Centre on 084 124 to verify the reference and authorisation number.
